My name is Jonathan Lippolis — I am a research driven communicator dedicated to the preservation of a livable world and inspiring hope for my generation. This website is designed to help you get to know me and the work I do in service of my goals, passions and interests
About Me
I am currently wrapping up my undergraduate degree in Political Science and Communication from George Washington University. While working towards my BA I have dedicated myself to applying what I have learned to the things I am most passionate about. I Interned at the GW Department of Organizational Sciences and Communication handling their LinkedIn page, student newsletters and event coordination. I went on to take a job with the GW Sustainability Department as an academic assistant, helping to teach students the fundamentals of sustainability communication. Throughout both of these positions, and all my time at GW, I was also a student organizer serving in multiple positions, including co-president, in the student led Environmental Justice Action Network.
Learning and Leading
Perhaps the least taught skill in the American education system is leadership, however my background in communication and political science has given me a solid base to build on. The skills I have developed through my curriculum have allowed me to articulate my ideas in a way that I am proud of and others feel confident in.
The most profound opportunity throughout my college career has been to serve my peers through leadership at the Environmental Justice Action Network.
In the future I want to continue to build my skills in research and communication to help organizations execute on their goals.
While my passion lies in protecting the environment my diverse skill set is on that I can bring to many positions and workplaces.
